FrogWatch is the flagship citizen science program of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums that invites people to learn about the wetlands in their communities and help conserve amphibians by reporting the calls of local frogs and toads. Frogs and toads play an important role in wetland ecosystems and are considered indicators of environmental health.

This FREE Citizen Science program is made possible by a generous grant from Dominion Foundation. For more info and to register contact the Audubon Society of Western PA at 412-963-6100, or Crooked Creek Environmental Learning Center at 724-763-6316. Registration is not necessary but would be helpful. Donations are suggested and are always greatly appreciated.

The Crooked Creek Environmental Learning Center is a multi-use facility operated under the auspices of the Armstrong Center for Community Learning and is available year-round to organized groups and businesses for environmental education, workshops, meetings, or retreats. Additional information can be found on our website: www.armstrongcenter.org/elc, by calling 724-763-6316, or by email at elcaet@windstream.net. Look for us on Facebook too!
