Arts on the Allegheny
The mission of Arts on the Allegheny is to entertain, educate and enrich the cultural life of western Pennsylvania by presenting quality performers and artists at the Kittanning Riverfront Park and other venues.

Belmont Complex
The Belmont Complex Ice Season (public skates, amateur and high school hockey, tournaments, learn-to-skate, figure skating) operates September through April. Regular Public Skate hours are Thursday 12-2pm, Friday 8-10pm, Saturday 7:30-9:30pm, and Sunday 2-4pm. The Belmont Pool Season operates June through August. We have a large Olympic size swimming pool with beach entry, water fountain, water slide, low dive, playground, pavilions, volleyball and new ADA compliant locker rooms. The Belmont Complex Arena is available April through August for event hosting. We have a state of the art banquet/conference room available with wireless internet & wireless microphone capability for up to 200 people.

This "National Museum of Vaudville at Casino Theater" is Southwestern Pennsylvania's oldest operating theatre. We host all kinds of entertainment from country-western music to dinner theaters, and the facility is available for theater events, recitals, presentations, and concerts. Ford City Heritage Days is a five day festival over the July 4th holiday that celebrates ethnic heritage and tradition. The event features entertainment, Bingo, 5K walk/run, parade, fireworks, children's activities and rides, as well as crafts and ethnic foods.

Fort Armstrong Folk Festival
The 38th annual festival held July 30 - Aug 2 along the Allegheny River includes period clothed marketers, horse drawn carriages, live performers and a food court. No admission charge.

Featuring: Bareback Horse Riding, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Bull Riding, Special Acts, and Kids Calf Scramble. Gates open at 4:30, Rodeo starts at 8pm, both nights.

Come join us for antique, classic, hot rod and motorcycle fun throughout the ‘car season’ of the year. We sponsor a monthly Wednesday evening car cruise-in at the Cadet Restaurant starting in May. Together with Kalmar Motors and Cadet management, we sponsor two cruise-ins to benefit HAVIN. Also, look for cruise-ins at the Kittanning Township Firehall – there will be a Cinco De Maio Cruise-in 2010. Use our website or call for accurate, up-to-date information. Club meetings are held the Wednesday evening the week after Cadet Cruise night at Theresa’s Royle Allegheny Restaurant.

Armstrong County hosts a portion of the Baker Trail, a 132-mile hiking and backpacking trail which follows forest paths, old jeep trails, and paved roads. Each August, runners test themselves on the trail in our annual 50-mile Baker Trail UltraChallenge & Relay!
