July 8-10, 15-17, and 22-24.

Massey Harbison is a historical drama about a genuine pioneer heroine, who with grit, determination and faith survived captivity by renegade warriors near present-day Freeport and lived to found a great American Family.

July 29-31:  2nd Annual Ribfest-  Paradise Park in Cowansville is hosting their 2nd Annual Ribfest with National Champion Rib Vendors and lots of concerts. July 29 is 5-11PM, July 30 is 12-11PM, July 31 is 12-8PM. $5 admission. Children under 12 are free. FREE parking.

July 30:  Reel Paddling Film Festival- Films will be shown at the Kittanning Riverfront Park at 9PM- weather permitting (Backup location is the Kittanning Elks Lodge #203).  Attendance is FREE, but tickets are required to win door prizes and to reserve a seat at the backup location.

fort armstrong folk festival

August 4-7:  Fort Armstrong Folk Festival-  August 4 & 5 is from 5-10PM, August 6 is Noon-10PM, August 7 is Noon-8PM.  It is held along the banks of the Allegheny River and includes a hand-crafted artist market, historical and musical entertainment, vehicle displays, fun for kids, festival food and more!

August 13-20:  Dayton Fair- Agricultural fair including animals, carnival, demo derbies, tractor pulls, and nationally known entertainment. $10.00 stamp required for all grandstand shows beginning after 3PM daily.  No admission refunds.

August 19-21:  Alle Kiski Strong RiverBration- American Power Boat Races. It will be held at the Kittanning Riverfront Park from 12PM-9PM. FREE to attend.
