Founded in 2002, the Armstrong Community Theater is a community theater organization dedicated to providing a positive outlet for cultural and artistic expression to all of those who wish to entertain.

Arts on the Allegheny aims to enrich the cultural life of Western Pennsylvania by presenting free, high-quality entertainment at the John P. Murtha Amphitheatre in Kittanning and other venues. The well-attended summer concert series features local vendors and big-name performers for both residents and visitors to enjoy on land or anchored out in the Allegheny River.

For over 40 years, Center Stage Dance Studio in Ford City has provided exceptional dance experience for students as young as three years old. Center Stage offers a range of dance camps, classes, and more. 

Donna Weckerly is a creative photographer who offers stylized photography sessions for high school seniors, engaged couples, boudoir, expecting parents, and families. She also offers professional business headshots and product photography, and her work is featured in a studio space at The Manos Gallery in Tarentum.

Jesica of Forever Whimsy Photography is a natural light lifestyle photographer specializing in children and family photography. FWP is based out of Worthington, PA and serves Armstrong County and surrounding areas. Jesica also has a convert to digital service and offers photography classes and mentoring.

2022 marks the beginning of the next 50 years for the Fort Armstrong Folk Festival. This annual event pays tribute to Armstrong County’s heritage along the banks of the Allegheny River in Kittanning. Each August, the four-day festival features a handcrafted artist market, live music, historical entertainment and demonstrations, delicious festival food, and more. 

Founded in 1989 and located on the Steele Farmstead, Freeport Theatre Festival is a summer community theatre offering the cherished classics as well as original historical dramas written by playwright Rennick Steele.

Jodi Bennett, Custom Artist Studio hosts paint and craft classes for all ages at various locations around the county and is available for private parties.

Pour Dirty is a Shakedown Street-style brick and mortar gallery that sells local artist works, from paint pours, acrylic works, and graphite sketches to handmade jewelry, dreamcatchers, live edge decor, and more. 

Purple Pinkie Pottery is a paint your own pottery studio that holds painting classes on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, self-paint hours on Thursdays and Fridays, and monthly happy hours.
