Apollo Memorial Library – Exterior

Founded in 1908, the Apollo Memorial Library is the oldest library in Armstrong County. It serves the residents of Apollo, North Apollo, and the surrounding areas.  The Apollo Memorial Library’s mission is to promote literacy and lifelong learning while meeting changing community needs.

The library is also a certified Passport Acceptance Agency and has partnered with the Armstrong County Treasurer’s Office to be a dog license agent.

Leechburg Public Library – Exterior

The Leechburg Public Library first opened its doors in the 1920s.  After a brief closure in early 2019, the doors reopened that September in the school with a new Board and staff. In Spring 2020, it closed once more due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was during this time that the Board decided to move the public library to its own, separate location. 139 Market Street became the new home for the Leechburg Public Library and officially opened its doors on October 27, 2020.

The Worthington-West Franklin Community Library is the library serving the Worthington Borough West Franklin Township and surrounding townships.
