Rent the Chicken provides a 6-month rental to get started with backyard hens. Coop, hens, feed, and free delivery to the Greater Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia regions are included. Hatch the Chicken is our 5-week hatching program to hatch chicks at your home, school, daycare, or senior care facility. At the end of the 5 weeks, we take everything back to the farm. Rent the Chicken & Hatch the Chicken were hatched in Armstrong County and is available all over the USA & Canada.

The Belmont Complex Ice Season (public skates, amateur and high school hockey, tournaments, & learn-to-skate) operates September through April. Regular Public Skate hours are Monday 12-2pm, Friday 8-10pm, Saturday 7:30-9:30pm, and Sunday 2:30-4pm. The Belmont Pool Season operates June through August. We have a large Olympic size swimming pool with beach entry, water fountain, water slide, low dive, playground, pavilions, and new ADA compliant locker rooms. The Belmont Complex also hosts dry floor events such as youth camps, yard sales, and concerts from May through July in the arena.
The Belmont Complex arena is available April through August for event hosting, expo shows, etc. We also have a state of the art banquet/conference room available with wireless internet & microphone capabilities for up to 200 people. The Belmont Complex ice season – amatuer and high school hockey, tournaments, and learn-to-skate programs – operates September through April. The Belmont also hosts dry floor events such as youth camps, yard sales, and concerts from May through July inside the arena. We have a large, Olympic-size swimming pool with beach entry, a water fountain, a waterslide, low dive, playground, pavilions, and locker rooms. The pool season is June through August.

The Armstrong County Historical Museum & Genealogical Society, Inc. is a local non-profit organziation that has been collecting and preserving the historical artifacts and genealogical records of the county since 1924. The McCain House, the museum’s home, is located at 300 N McKean St, Kittanning.
Fort Armstrong Horseman’s Association provides education and eventing facilities to the equine community as well as other charitable organizations at the Crooked Creek Horse Park located in Manor Twp. The park,which includes a barn museum, camping, bath facilities, arenas, and riding trails, is 97.5 acres dedicated to equestrian activities.
