Ryan’s Creek House is Armstrong County’s hottest gastropub and restaurant featuring over 70 beers on tap, craft cocktails, and fresh food.

This multi-use facility is operated under the leadership of the Armstrong Center for Community Learning and hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including educational talks, book clubs, kid-friendly classes and story times, youth camps, hikes, outdoor recreation sessions, movie nights, and more. There are three public trails at the Outdoor Discovery Center at Crooked Creek. The You Can Trail is an easy and accessible 0.4-mile loop trail that starts next to the parking lot. It will soon be improved upon with the addition of markers and guides for the visually impaired. The Discovery Trail is an approximately 0.6-mile easy to moderate trail with interpretive stations (trail guide located outside of the ODC front door). It also features poetry throughout the trail. The trailhead is located behind the ODC. The Shrub Swamp Trail can be accessed off of the Discovery Trail or from the Outflow Recreation Area. The 0.8-mile trail provides a gentle walk along the outflow of Crooked Creek Lake and provides a great opportunity to see a wide variety of birds, flowers and wildlife. Dogs are permitted on the trails but should be leashed.
Crooked Creek Lake offers pet-friendly primitive camping opportunities with abundant outdoor recreation opportunities and Tunnelville Beach.

Fort Armstrong Horseman’s Association provides education and eventing facilities to the equine community as well as other charitable organizations at the Crooked Creek Horse Park located in Manor Twp. The park,which includes a barn museum, camping, bath facilities, arenas, and riding trails, is 97.5 acres dedicated to equestrian activities.
Crooked Creek Horse Park is a 97+ acre multi-use facility and horse park offering everything for horse enthusiasts, from horse shows and rodeos to clinics and trail and endurance rides. The park provides first-come, first-serve primitive campsites, hookup sites, and stall rentals with horseback riding trails. Amenities include water and electric hookups and internet access. Located at the north end of Crooked Creek Lake, Crooked Creek Horse Park has approximately 30 miles of permanently marked trails. The most popular trails are out and back, but there are loops available. These trails are challenging for experienced riders but not too difficult for novice riders and feature varying terrains. The trail system is maintained by volunteers from the Fort Armstrong Horsemen’s Association.
The Fort Armstrong Championship Rodeo, held annually in July at Crooked Creek Horse Park, provides excitement for the whole family. Enjoy all of rodeo’s greatest events, like barrel racing, calf roping, bull riding, and more. There’s also live music and other entertainment throughout the weekend.
This serene private park situated along Crooked Creek is available for picnics, parties, showers, and other events. There are two pavilions located on-site, and overnight camping is permitted upon approval. You can also access the creek for paddling or fishing.
