This reception and banquet venue located in the former Ford City Armory comfortably seats 250 guests. The venue is a popular option for weddings, proms, anniversaries, and conventions. Services offered include bar and buffet or white glove sit-down catering, event planning, and set-up and tear-down. It also has chairs, tables, lighting, and other items available for use. 

A staple in Armstrong County for over 50 years, the Belmont Complex has it all — an indoor arena for amateur and high school ice hockey, learn-to-skate programs, and various events during the off-season, an Olympic-sized outdoor community pool and waterslide, and a banquet space for family gatherings, conferences, or meetings. Open daily from the beginning of June to mid-August, the Olympic-sized swimming pool and 150’ waterslide at the Belmont Complex is a wonderful place to spend a summer afternoon with the family. The pool features a beach entry, low dive area, playground, pavilions, and ADA-compliant locker rooms. The banquet room at the Belmont Complex is available for meetings, receptions, or other large events. Open seven days a week, Edgewood Winery & Event Center has something for everyone. They are known for our wide variety of events and, of course, their wine! They have over twenty wines and locally made liquors, beer, and moonshine. Edgewood Winery is also a gorgeous setting to host your next special event. With a capacity of 130 inside the winery and 80 on the patio, this space is perfect for a baby or bridal shower, anniversary party, wedding, or other special occasions. The cost of the venue includes a bartender for your event, and outside caterers are permitted. There is also a pavilion available.

Enchanted Abbey is a century-old church building specializing in small, intimate events of 25 people or less. Everything you need to throw the party of the century, aside from food and drinks, is included. Watch your wedding, tea party, murder mystery dinner, or other unique experience come to fruition at this picturesque event center. 

This serene private park situated along Crooked Creek is available for picnics, parties, showers, and other events. There are two pavilions located on-site, and overnight camping is permitted upon approval. You can also access the creek for paddling or fishing. 

Formerly the Freeport Senior High and then the Freeport Junior High School, the Freeport Event Center is a locally-owned community space that hosts a variety of events throughout the year, from concerts and dance recitals to conferences and expos. Located among the rolling hills of Ford City, the Inn at Lenape Heights is an upscale four-star boutique hotel near Crooked Creek Lake featuring a nature trail, private picnic area, and an 18-hole golf course. Kittanning Country Club offers golfers a challenging round on one of Western PA’s most highly regarded layouts. KCC is a private facility with a number of participation levels and features a pro shop, locker facilities, clubhouse, and banquet area. Located within Freeport Community Park, Laube Hall offers breathtaking views of the Allegheny River for events of all occasions. The main banquet hall, featuring high vaulted ceilings, rich woodwork, and unparalleled architecture, has a seating capacity of 500 guests. There are other rooms available for smaller gatherings. 

Located in the charming town of Leechburg, Lingrow Farm is an exquisite country retreat nestled on 50 acres of farmland. The wedding venue is renowned by the Knot, Pittsburgh Magazine, and Whirl Magazine, as well as the national television show Four Weddings as one of Pennsylvania’s most distinguished and elegant, yet rustic, hideaways. 

Entertainment comes alive at Paradise Park with the largest covered outdoor pavilion in the area, accommodating up to 2,500 people. Paradise Park hosts a handful of events throughout the year, including concerts, car cruises, community fundraisers, and more. Renshaw Farms is a local farm and wedding venue that hosts various seasonal events throughout the year. Each summer and fall, Renshaw Farms brings people together for their Sunflower Days and Pumpkin Fest! Silver Canoe Campground offers pet-friendly, year-round camping with full hook-ups, a heated pool, an activities center, and cabin rentals. Amenities include electric, water, and sewage hookups, a swimming pool, cabin rentals, internet access, and organized activities. There are also two venues for your party needs: a game room for smaller events and a banquet hall for up to 120 guests. The event venue can accommodate lakeside weddings, and guests have full use of the campground facilities, including the swimming pool, boat rentals, playground, and more.

The Barn at Willow Grove is located in Mayport, Pennsylvania along the Armstrong and Jefferson counties line. Nestled on 115 acres of rolling hills and countryside, The Barn is surrounded by a variety of backdrops and a 3-acre glistening pond to make a unique setting for a fairy-tale wedding. Freehling Farms is a local chicken farm selling chicks, juvenile chickens, started pullets, and the occasional turkey, guinea, and duck. 

Founded in 2002, the Armstrong Community Theater is a community theater organization dedicated to providing a positive outlet for cultural and artistic expression to all of those who wish to entertain.

The Worthington-West Franklin Community Library is the library serving the Worthington Borough West Franklin Township and surrounding townships. They offer a wide selection of books, videos, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, and eBooks for all ages, as well as virtual story-time and other programming. Quiet study space and work space is available in the office/genealogy room, where you can also use one of the public computers.

FWP is based out of Worthington, PA and serves Armstrong County and surrounding areas. Jesica also has a convert to digital service and offers photography classes and mentoring.

Becca Bowser of Keystone Professional Farrier Service is a farrier specializing in corrective and natural trims for light and mini horses, donkeys, mules, goats, and more. Keystone also does emergency calls and will travel for clients.
