Spend the afternoon with award-winning children’s book author, Elizabeth Pagel-Hogan. Author of Animal Allies: 15 Amazing Women in Wildlife Research. This book was recently chosen as an Outstanding Science Trade book by the National Science Teaching Association.
Pagel-Hogan will lead an interactive discussion with young people about conservation topics and exploring careers in wildlife and writing. Did you know that creativity is a factor in writing and science? This is a great workshop that will give young people a chance to see themselves in STEM careers.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own questions about science careers, writing careers, and conservation topics that they care about!
