Come help Armstrong Trails celebrate the life and birthday of our friend, Larry Tiss on April 8 from 10 AM-1 PM. He passed in May of 2021 and would have liked nothing better than for us to gather and take care of the Phillipston Turntable.

Executive Director Chris Ziegler believes that completing the restoration of the turntable project was Larry’s life mission. “Without him… I am not quite sure it would have been completed, at least in a timely manner. What I do know is on November 24, 2020, the last spike joined the run-off track and the turntable.”

Now that the project is complete, we need to clean the leaves out of the pit, pick up sticks, etc.

Please meet at 94 N. Apple Street in Rimersburg. Bring gloves and safety glasses. Tools will be provided. This clean-up event is weather-permitting.
